Das diagnostische und therapeutische Spektrum der gastrointestinalen Endoskopie hat sich in den letzten Jahren erheblich weiterentwickelt. Prämaligne oder frühmaligne Läsionen des Gastrointestinaltrakts können heute überwiegend endoskopisch entfernt werden. Neben der Resektion sind eine rationale präinterventionelle Diagnostik und eine adäquate Nachsorge essenzieller Bestandteil eines endoskopischen Therapiekonzepts, wie es hier dargestellt wird.
